Safely enjoy your candles by following these tips:

Always burn candles within sight. Keep them away from flammable objects, children, and pets.

Before lighting, trim the wick down to 1/4 inch. Keep the candle free from foreign objects including the wick trimmings and matches etc. Burn the candle on a fire resistant, level surface. Burn the candle for no more than 4 hours at a time and trim wick down to 1/4 inch before relighting. Discontinue burning the candle after only 1/4 inch of wax remains in the vessel. Do not blow on the candle to extinguish it. Cover it with a non-flammable small plate or similar non-flammable object to put out the flame. Do not pick up or move the candle after lighting it, because the vessel can be hot to the touch and the wax pool can spill if caution is not exercised.
